1st YEAR SPANISH (LESS THAN 1 YR) EXPLORATORY SPANISH
Exploratory Spanish is a beginning-level, semester-long Spanish course designed for Spanish beginners who have not previously taken Spanish. Within the 1st semester beginning, students learn basic Spanish Q&R, expressions, common phrases, high-frequency Spanish vocabulary, and other essential concepts reflective of daily life (e.g., alphabets, #'s 1-30, colors, calendar, greetings, parts of the body, subjects, classroom objects).
In addition, students become familiar with relevant Spanish topics holidays, traditions, history, art, influential people, in the world today.
The Exploratory Spanish course welcomes students to travel on a journey into the beautiful Spanish world. It provides students with an introduction to the basic Spanish language content and popular cultural topics, relative to native Spanish-speaking countries around the world. It is highly recommended for students who plan to register for Spanish IA and IB.
